River in Reverse uses the scrap created by laser cutting Arrival Over the Snake - using one project to create an additional public art project in a separate location. River in Reverse creates a link between two projects aesthetically and conceptually. The rgb LED light colors are changed on the solstices and equinoxes to mark the passage of time and the shifting color of the Snake River throughout the seasons.
